Q/01Are Stellex food and beverage conveyors SS 304 or SS 316?
Both. For dry, non-corrosive products like flour, sugar and grains we typically supply SS 304. For dairy powders, salt, acidic ingredients and CIP-cleaned lines we use SS 316 or 316L with electropolished welds.
Q/02How do you prevent cross-contamination and allergen carry-over?
Conveyors are designed for full discharge with no dead spots, quick-release covers for inspection and food-grade FDA gaskets. Allergen lines can be dedicated, color-coded and built CIP-ready for wet wash-down between products.
Q/03Can your screw conveyors be cleaned in place (CIP / SIP)?
Yes. CIP-ready troughs, hollow-shaft drains, removable screws and spray-ball arrangements are standard options for hygienic food and dairy duty. SIP-rated builds for sterile applications are also available.
Q/04How do you control dust during bag dumping and powder transfer?
We integrate bag dump stations with built-in pulse-jet dust collectors, dust-tight tubular screw conveyors and bin vent filters on receiving silos. Closed pneumatic conveying is used where dust generation must be eliminated entirely.

Stellex food and beverage conveyors are built across a range of capacities — from precision dosing of additives at a few kilograms per hour to bulk transfer of grain and sugar at several tonnes per hour, sized to the customer's process.
